Harbor Lines of the Heart

我們從獅城岸邊啟程，

We set sail from the shores of Lion City,
帶著海風與夢想飛往三千公里外的基隆港。

carrying sea breezes and dreams to Keelung Port,

three thousand miles away.

新加坡的陽光仍在背後，

The sunlight of Singapore still lingers behind us
我們渴望用墨水，代替基隆的水霧。

as we long to replace Keelung's mist with ink

停泊的船隻低語，

Docked vessels whisper softly.
海潮拍打鏽纜，引擎低鳴，

The tide laps against rusty cables, engines hum.
每一艘船都有自己的故事，

Each vessel has its own story, 
等待舵手與船長為它指引方向，

awaiting helmsmen and captains to guide its course

好讓水手們完成任務而踏上歸途。

so sailors may fulfill their tasks and set sail for home.

在基隆的狹窄街巷間，

Between Keelung’s narrow alleys,  
我們的筆描繪廟宇的燈籠與細雨。

our pens sketch temple lanterns and drizzling rain,  
描繪深夜中魚貨市集喧鬧的語句。

capturing the night’s clamor in the fish market in lines of living verse.

基隆的晴時多雲偶陣雨，

Keelung’s sunbreaks between clouds and showers 

給我們一個由風與波浪調製的調色盤。

grant us a palette blended by wind and waves. 
我們回以畫布上的線條，

We reply with brushstrokes on canvas
由炭筆與旅人建起了心靈的橋樑。

charcoal lines bridging wanderers’ souls.

各國家的藝文交流，

The cultural exchange between nations

不是在政經與利益的博弈，
is no wager of politics or profit,  
而是在寧靜的筆觸中，當船隻揚帆，駛向外海，

but quiet brushstrokes on canvas- as ships hoist sail toward open seas, 
旅人即將心中的歸屬，畫出海之靈魂，

the wanderer paints the ocean’s soul, 

國家與種族之界線，即刻無影無蹤。

and borders of race and nation dissolve like mist.
